After Vinyan I expected to see something gloomy, climatic and crazy in this movie and I was totally overjoyed! Looking at Alleluia, I observed that this was by one or another means identified with Calvaire, who was discharged from the hospital 11 years ago. Same screen characters, same female name Gloria (Bartel’s wife), and a religious foundation. Except in real cases, I found it had a lot to do with Calvaire. It’s like the executive is making a part two. Imagine recovering years after Mark left the farmhouse. He started dating for money because he had to win as a profession in some way. Moreover, due to past trauma, his cerebral pain..Gloria used to sing and Bartel’s wife Gloria used to sing. Just change the name Michel to Mark Stevens.
