In search of interesting news stories, a small town news team follows a crew member investigating a foreclosed home. Especially inside a strange house, the news team finds a box of videotapes inside a locked closet. Sensing the story, they decide to take them to the studio. Through the tapes, they learn that the family who lived in the house didn’t get kicked out by the bank, but rather left the house for fear of life. A crew member trying to decipher the story continues to see a faceless figure in a black suit appearing in a scene that jumbles the videotape. Their fear grows when these figures, considered operators, begin to appear in reality, standing still and watching them all the time. Tortured and terrified, the three crew must track down the operator’s mystery before it’s too late.
