Story:
Journalist Gary Webb, California 1996, began investigating the CIA’s role in transporting crack cocaine into the black part of LA in the 1980s to get money and weapons to the Contras/independence fighters in Nicaragua. Based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb. The film takes place in the mid-1990s, when Webb uncovers the CIA’s past role in importing large amounts of cocaine into the United States to raise money for the Nicaraguan Contras rebel army. was aggressively sold in ghettos throughout.
