Story:

On a journey to find a cure for the Tatarigami curse, Ashitaka finds himself in the middle of a war between the gods of the forest and Tatara, a mining colony. In this quest he also meets San, Mononoke Hime. While protecting his village, Ashitaka, a confident young warrior, falls victim to a deadly curse. To save his life he must travel to the wilds of the West. Once there, he became embroiled in a massive campaign that humans were conducting in the forest. Ambitious Lady Iboshi and her loyal clan use their guns against the gods of the forest and a brave young woman, Princess Mononoke, who was raised by the wolf god. Ashitaka sees the good in both sides and tries to stop the bloodshed. This is met with hostility on both sides as they each see him as supporting the enemy.
