Story:

Forced underground by the next ice age, a struggling outpost of survivors must fight to save humanity against a threat even more savage than nature. Sam (Kevin Zegers) tells Mason to let Hal go, as he has chosen to go. Hall says it’s not a choice, it’s survival, and one less person will mean more food for the rest. Sam explains that townspeople who arrived in one of the colonies considered themselves lucky to reach one of the colonies. In the beginning, they had to work with cramped conditions, but then, people’s life expectancy began to decrease, and now, they are not cramped at all.
