Jessica has intermittent nightmares and spooks from adolescence, and its importance is diminishing. These traits led her to investigate the psychophysiology of her dreams and try and understand the onset of bad dreams after being treated with Sean, her tutor and her lover. After her maternal grandmother, whom she barely knew, Jessica reluctantly returns to her home. She doesn’t get along exceptionally well with her mom and doesn’t expect to see her again. As soon as she lands, Jessica finds her deceased grandmother lying in the space adjacent to her in her wake. Jessica, disturbed by her strange bad dream of meeting her deceased grandmother on her harsh first night, suddenly becomes ill. Trapped in bed with high fever, a young woman uses her lazy state to experiment with her clear imagination.
