Reiko Asakawa is investigating ‘Cursed Video’ interviewing teenagers. When her nephew Tomoko dies of ‘sudden heart failure’ with an unnaturally terrified expression on her face, Reiko investigates. She learns that some of Tomoko’s friends, who were on vacation with Tomoko a week ago, died on exactly the same night and in exactly the same way. Reiko goes to the hut where the teenagers are staying and finds an ‘unlabeled’ videotape. Reiko looked at the tape and found out that it was actually a ‘cursed videotape’ and she was terrified. Her ex-husband Ryuji helps Reiko solve a mystery, and Reiko makes a copy for further investigation. The situation becomes even more tense when her son Yoichi sees a tape directed by Tomoko. Their discovery takes them to a volcanic island, where they discover that the video relates to a psychic and her child Sadako, who died 30 years ago.
