Construction company owner John Matthews learns that his estranged son Jason has been arrested for drug trafficking. Faced with an unreasonable prison sentence for a first-time offender under the mandatory minimum penal code, Jason has nothing to offer for a good remorse. Desperately, John convinces DEA and the opportunistic DA Joanne Keeghan to infiltrate, in return, to help with an arrest large enough to release his son. With the unconscious help of a former employee, John enters the drug underworld where every move can be the last in an operation that requires all the resources, wit and courage to survive.
