Late Bronze Age, 1250 BC. When Paris, the prince of Troy, persuades Helen, the queen of Sparta, to leave her husband Menelaus and return to Troy with him, her two emerging nations begin to clash. After Menelaus learns that her wife has been kidnapped by a Trojan horse, Menelaus asks her brother Agamemnon to help him recover her. Agamemnon sees this as an opportunity for power. So they went to Troy in 1,000 ships carrying 50,000 Greeks. With the help of Achilles, the Greeks can fight the Trojan Horse, which has never been defeated. But they are stopped by the Trojan prince Hector. The entire film presents their struggles and foreshadowings of their fate in this remake of Wolfgang Petersen’s Wolfgang Petersen of Homer’s “Iliad”.
